In the movie Merchant of Venice, people are loath to work with Shockley who is a Jew. They think Jew are very greedy, all they want is money. Therefore, they insult Jew and see them as evils.
However, the truth is that they never accept Jew, they never stand in Scockley's shoes. Although the decision that he made for one pound of flesh is inappropriate, it is because as a human there is no possibility for him to be nice to the person that never accept him.
In conclusion, the so call justice in this situation does not exist, because every person hate Shockley due to his race. Nobody try to understand the situation that is Shockley facing.
