Rationality is the quality or state of being rational – that is, being based on or agreeable to reason. Rationality implies the conformity of one's beliefs with one's reasons to believe, and of one's actions with one's reasons for action. And humanism is influenced by rationality.
In renaissance period, humanists sought to create a citizenry able to speak and write with eloquence and clarity and thus capable of engaging in the civic life of their communities and persuading others to virtuous and prudent actions.
So in this period, people are tend to find the truth with rational way such as science evidence, instead of using the old conventional concept to address problems.
